Taupo
Almost right in the centre of the North Island, Taupo offers the advantage of reasonably good access to a large number of members. Trout fishing is a main stay for many visitors to Taupo but there are many other attractions also. The hot pools and thermal spas are a welcome relief to many a weary traveller.
The Society home in Taupo is only a stone's throw from the main township. Bought new in April 1996 this home is the newest in the group. Three good sized bedrooms (master ensuite), internal access garage and great decking are only some of the features.
At times when our Taupo home is heavily booked, we suggest members make contact with the Napier Fire Brigade who have a property in Taupo. This home is situated in Acacia Bay and is made available to members of the Society by the generosity of the Napier members.Call the Napier station representative, Noel 027 4498180 for bookings.
