Election of Chairman
At the closing of nominations there had been only one applicant for the Chairmans position. Hence the incumbent, Keith Nixon is re-elected Chairman for a term of four years. Congratulations Keith.

Since its inception in 1987 we have focused on helping firefighter's in New Zealand and their families.
The NZ Firefighters Welfare Society is a member of the Associated Agencies group of the New Zealand Fire Service.
Members of the Associated Agencies offer their members various benefits and in most cases these benefits are available to other members of the New Zealand Fire Service.
The Associated Agencies also includes the New Zealand Fire Service, Firesuper, NZ Firefighters Credit Union, United Fire Brigades Association, NZ Professional Firefighters Union, CFO and DCFOs Society, Sports Council and Christchurch Emergency Services Credit Union.
