2009 Memorial Stair Climb
The Auckland (New Zealand) Fire Brigade held its inaugural Memorial Stair Climb of the 28 story BNZ building, Queen Street, Auckland at 0900 hours
11-9-09. (9-11)
This was held as a memorial to all Firefighters world wide that have been killed or seriously injured while carrying out their duty. The day was in support of the NZ Firefighters Welfare Society, to assist all of the members country wide. The Welfare Society would like to thank a number of people that assisted in making this the first of hopefully many successful Memorial climbs.
