The New Zealand Fire Fighters Welfare Society hold an annual Memorial Stair Climb in rememberance of fallen Firefighters world wide. This event is held on September 11th (911).The event is held at the 28 floor BNZ building on Queen Street Auckland (New Zealand).

The event was first held in 2009 with a second being organized for this year.
