CHRISTMAS WISHES
The Board and Staff of the Welfare Society wish you all the
very best for the Festive season,and hope
you have a rewarding, revitalizing, relaxing Xmas.
HOLIDAY OFFICE HOURS
Except for the Statutory Holidays, this year, the office will be open during normal hours ie Monday – Friday 9am – 3pm. If you need to contact us outside these hours leave a message - they will be getting cleared daily -or if it is urgent initially try your Regional Rep or use the Secretary's or Chairman’s cell phones – all of their tel # s are on the back page of this newsletter
NEW MEMBER PROMOTION
All new members who join the Welfare Society in the 2004 calendar year will go in a draw to win three free nights stay at one of the Society’s Holiday Homes
We will be having four draws for new members over the year . Members joining between
1st January – 31st March will go into the first draw
1st April – 30th June will go into the second draw
1st July – 30th September will go into the third draw
1st October – 31st December will go into the fourth draw
subject to the following conditions,
The free nights must be taken consecutively, and are subject to the availibility of the homes at that time If the free nights are applied for during a ballot period, the normal ballot procedures shall apply,
Winners will be notified individually and they may be named in the Society newsletter, the Gazette or the Star Magazine

BOARD ELECTIONS
Regions 1 (Greater Auckland area & North) & Region 3 (Hawkes Bay/ Taranaki/ Manawatu) come up for election next year.
We hereby give notice that we are calling for nominations for these positions. Nominations may be made on the appropriate form signed by a proposer, a seconder & the nominee (the regional reps must be nominated by a member in that region)
Nominations close with the returning officer on 11th April 2004 & should be posted to:
