If you don’t let us know that you are sick/in hospital/need assistance we can’t help – just ring the office at any time or if it is outside of office hours leave a message.
NEW MEMBER PROMOTION
All new members who join the Welfare Society in the 2004 calendar year will go in a draw to win three free nights stay at one of the Society’s Holiday Homes
We will be having four draws for new members over the year . Members joining between 1st January – 31st March will go into the first draw,1st April – 30th June will go into the second draw,1st July – 30th September will go into the third draw and 1st October – 31st December will go into the fourth draw
subject to the following conditions
The free nights must be taken consecutively, and are subject to the availibility of the homes at that time. If the free nights are applied for during a ballot period, the normal ballot procedures shall apply.
Winners will be notified individually and they may be named in the Society newsletter, the Gazette or the Star Magazine

ELECTION OF BOARD MEMBERS REGIONS1 & 3
Reminder
Region 1 (Greater Auckland area & North) & Region 3 (Hawke Bay, Taranaki, Manawatu, Wanganui) come up for election this year.
We hereby give notice that we are calling for nominations for these positions. Nominations may be made on the appropriate form signed by a proposer, a seconder & the nominee (the regional reps must be nominated & seconded by a member in that region)
Nominations close with the returning officer at 4pm on 11th April 2004 & should be posted to:

NEXT OF KIN/BENFICIARY UPDATES
When you have any changes in your family circumstances remember to update your records at the office. When you join the Welfare you nominate your next of kin and the person to whom we should pay the funeral assistance benefit if necessary. It is important that you keep this information up to date eg if you marry you may wish to change your next of kin/beneficiary.
