Brian has served two separate terms as a Board member, is the WSSR for Hamilton and helps produce the newsletter – he is responsible for all of the humour.
NB – he is currently recuperating from a fall from his roof, he forgot his spider-man outfit, he would laugh if it wasn’t for the cracked ribs.

HOLIDAY HOMES
a. Maintenance
Those of you who use the homes will have noticed that there has been some seriousmaintenance and upgrading carried out on the homes over the past year – there is still some work in progress but this should be completed over the next few months.
Thanks to all of those members in the different areas who have given their time to assist & thanks for your patience to those of you who may
have been inconvenienced at times.
b. No Smoking in Homes
The Board has adopted a policy of non-smoking in the homes – please respect this.
c. Non-members using homes
A few issues ago we raised the matter of some instances being reported to us of members booking the homes in their name, and then allowing non members to use the home. Unfortunately some members have ignored this. To remind you of the “Conditions of Occupancy’ for using the homes a copy appears on the back of this page – please familiarise yourselves with them
As a result of this continued misuse of the homes by a few members, the Board has adopted the following policy.
‘ A Welfare Society representative may check to ensure that the identity of those in residence are the member/partner/ spouse who made the booking. If it is found that the member /partner/ spouse is not occupying the home the member who made the booking will be charged treble the current rate applying and may have their membership of the Welfare Society terminated’.
